Summary:
A young boy from the Korou wolf-clan, Itomaki, suddenly enters his “hunger period.” In order to end it, he must raise a fairy-like creature known as an “Amegashi,” and 1 year later — eat her. For an Amegashi, their only source of food is the blood of a Korou. To eat, and be eaten — together in this ancient coexistence, the two begin their relationship. This heart-wrenching fantasy paints the story of a love so pure, it transcends the boundaries between different races.
